Bug Description

Binary package hint: metacity

I am using GNOME with a Kurdish localization. When using compiz, the metacity entries "Always on _Top" and "Move to Workspace R_ight" appear in English. When not using compiz, the Kurdish translations appear. All other entries appear translated. The same but happens with the Turkish (tr_TR) localization, but not with the German locale.

I have seen this at least since Feisty, probably since Edgy. It is still present in Gutsy beta.

So, when you're using metacity, the Kurdish and Turkish translations appear, and when you're using Compiz they don't? Sounds like a bug in Compiz and not Metacity to me.

linwnck provides that menu.

I didn't know that his menu is provided by linwnck. So it's just that linwnck is not translated. Therefore the bug is invalid, please mark as such.
