Bug Description

there was some effort put into getting the right version info for the custom-tarball presenting a similar schema to the user we show for the device tarball "${datestamp}-${git checkout}". it seems using system-image-cli -i on the commandline properly reports the right stamp here:

phablet@ubuntu-phablet:~$ system-image-cli -i|grep custom
version custom: 20150709-814-6-40

while the system settings UI shows something like: 1436463722
which makes it impossible for a user to guess when/if the custom tarball was updated or changed.

please turn system-settings back to actually report the right string from system-image info.
