Bug Description

(Using Ubuntu Gutsy updated to 2007-09-30 with Gnome.)

In all KDE applications, when you try to open or save a file you get a file browser with some shortcuts on the left.

With the Spanish locale, the "Desktop" (Escritorio) shortcut points to ~/Desktop. However, at least in Gnome, the real desktop is at ~/Escritorio.

On the other hand, Gnome open/save dialogs don't have this problem.
