Booting into tty1 instead of tty7

Bug Description

Installed Gutsy yesterday on my E1505n (which came direct from Dell with Ubuntu on it). After installing and reboot the default tty is 1 instead of 7. I have to do a ctrl-alt-7, to get to the Desktop.

I also get an oem-config-dm error on tty1 and a Xserver failed to start error. oem-config doesn't seem to be running but Xserver is up and running.
