Bug Description
Kubuntu 7.10 on an Acer Aspire 5100 no longer responds correctly to the Fn-Up/Fn-Down keyboard shortcuts. A volume slider does appear on screen, but only toggles between 0% and 11% and doesn't seem to affect any volumes. Both kmix and alsamixer work properly for setting the volume, the problem is only with the keyboard shortcuts.
These keys worked properly under Feisty.
