jetdirect printer prints only the first page

Bug Description
Binary package hint: cupsys
I've got an apple airport station, which shares an USB printer via the jectdirect at port 9100.
it correctly works in windows xp, but in linux cups only prints the first page.
I use the option of 2 pages in 1 sheet, and the printer only prints page 1 and 2 (in the same sheet).
using the printer with an USB connection instead of jetdirect works.
I'm running gutsy and cups 1.3.2-1ubuntu1

I think I have the very same problem, whatever I print using gutsy I get only one page (which can be two-sided), printing to the same network printer from feisty works.
