Bug Description
See upstream bug http://
Some Ogg Vorbis file have a cracking noise when played back with the non-crossfading backend in rhythmbox 0.11.x.
Just defaulting on the crossfading isn't a solution either, as with this one I experience other problems, such as Radio not working or two tracks playing at the same time.
I would suggest downgrading Rhythmbox to the stable 0.10 series for Gutsy.

Thank you for your bug. If you read the upstream bug you pointed you will see that there is already bug #127593 about it so that's a duplicate. We don't intend to downgrade rhythmbox now the new version has many features and bug fixes and it would be better to fix the issue that to downgrade
