Bug Description

Binary package hint: aptitude

Background:
Aptitude now uses the "safe-upgrade" instead of "upgrade". This change is noticed in Gutsy (7.10) when using the command "sudo aptitude upgrade". The following message is shown:

jeldert@gutsy:~$ sudo aptitude upgrade
[sudo] password for jeldert:
W: The "upgrade" command is deprecated; use "safe-upgrade" instead.

Now, the problem is that safe-upgrade is not listed in the list of parameters of aptitude (eg, typing aptitude in a shell, and pressing tab twice). Also full-upgrade is missing.
Please note that the manual page is up-to-date, and lists both parameters.

Since:
This problem was introduced in Gutsy (currently has aptitude0.4.6.1-1ubuntu3) . In Feisty (aptitude 0.4.4-1ubuntu3) it's fine, since upgrade is not deprecated in that version. Perhaps it was introduces with the change to apt 0.7.
