Bug Description

Laptop: Dell Inspiron 6400 with Intel video card.
Tried installing Gutsy (kubuntu beta dvd) with encrypted root filesystem with LVM (like Debian 4.0) in TEXT mode. Used both beta DVD/alternate CD.
1) At some point of retreiving/configuring packages font on screen turned into color squres
2) Setup did not finish
3) cruptsetup from live system wasn't able to open encrypted FS (cryptsetup form Debian 4.0 installer opened this FS)

i have managed to install kubuntu in server mode, but it still doesn't boot.

The color squares issue sounds sort of like bug 127101 or 127008, both of which are fixed since -beta. Can you please test against gutsy-final and reopen if the issue is still present?
