Failed at configuring cups-pdf (with adept-updater). As usual on Gutsy, using aptitude on the console works.

I have had this upgrade problem 3 different times which caused me to completely rerun the system twice. Is there any way i will know when it is safe to try again.

Just use aptitude in the console to do your work. It never failed me.
