Bug Description
Binary package hint: mozilla-thunderbird
When composing an email, the address is not checked against configured LDAP directories, even when that option is set up in the Preferences. I have confirmed this by watching the slapd logs while composing versus when searching the address book. Searching the address book provides results. Typing the beginning of the name or email address does not even produce a result in slapd's log. This worked in feisty.

I have installed a fresh copy of Hardy and this behavior works as expected now. I won't be able to reproduce this problem and nobody else seems to have reported it, so it is safe to assume it was a config issue on my side and close the bug.
