Binary package hint: system-config-printer

Only shows "Other" in New Printer dialog, and when attemtping to enter a URI (a valid one at that), it crashes when clicking Forward.

I would expect to see a message beginning 'Caught non-fatal exception' in ~/.xsession-errors. Can I see that message?

As asked by Tim do you have a "non-fatal exeption" message in the file ~/.xsession-errors when this happens?
If so please attach your ~/.xsession-errors to this bug report.

I just received this error when trying to connect to a network printer. Attached is my .xsessions-errors which contains a "non-fatal exception" message.

I forgot to add that I was using Hardy at the time of my crash.

Thank you for reporting this bug to Ubuntu. Hardy reached EOL on May 12, 2010.

I've tried recreating this bug with Natty and was unable to, given the information you've provided. Please either a) upgrade and test or b) increase the verbosity of the steps to recreate it so we can try again.
