Error message when attempting to play back with Sound Recorder

Bug Description
I get the following message when I attempt to play back sound recordings with
Sound Recorder in Kubuntu:
"Could not open resource for writing."
Sound Recorder works fine in Gnome. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling
Sound Recorder on the KDE side and it doesn't help.
