Bug Description

the init script /etc/init.d/kdm installed by kdm needs /lib/lsb/init-functions
from lsb-base, but kdm doesn't depend on lsb-base. A dependency to lsb-base (>=
1.3-9ubuntu2) should be added.

Of all kdm's depends, none of them seems to depend on lsb-base.

lsb-base is Priority: required - is a dependency still needed?

Yes a depends is still required unless the package is Essential: yes, which lsb-base is not. And according to Kamion, lsb-base dependencies should be versioned anyway. Thank you.

No indication that kdm needs lsb-base on either edgy or dapper. Closing the bug.
