Binary package hint: compizconfig-settings-manager

Installing this library solved it for me librsvg2-common.
I found it here : http://forum.compiz-fusion.org/showthread.php?t=1220

I can confirm that that fixes the problem. Could someone set librsvg2-common as a dependency of CompizConfig-settings-manager?

Does it look the same as my screenshot above?

(just checked aptitude, I also have the package librsvg2-2 installed, if you want to check that as well).

Actually it's not the same, maybe these are different issues.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering is this still an issue for you? Can you try with latest Ubuntu release? Thanks in advance.

I haven't tried to use Compiz since KDE4 came along, and I'm reluctant to
install it in case it mucks something up (I find graphics a bit like a house
of cards--once it works, don't play with it). But CCSM still doesn't, as far
as I can tell, have a dependency on either part of librsvg2, so if the icons
are still in that format, I guess the same thing still happens.

In Kubuntu Jaunty today I have installed the compiz-kde package, because compiz depends on compiz-gnome (I think it should depend on compiz-gnome | compiz-kde, bug #347077 ) and compizconfig-settings-manager. Now I can confirm this bug still exists, there are no icons in CCSM.

Installing librsvg2-common fixes the problem. This should be solved only by adding librsvg2-common as a dependency for compizconfig-settings-manager?
