Bug Description
I've got a kickstart CD using gutsy gibbon beta for x86.
when the installation gets as far as kickseed, the process appears to hang. the final entries in syslog are as follows:

I get the error rather consistently
Going to the console and looking at the processes I see that the last processes are:
apt-get install --assume-yes bluefish quanta kompoze... dpkg-preconfigu re --apt || true... dpkg-preconfigu re --apt...
/bin/sh -c /usr/sbin/
/usr/bin/perl /w /usr/sbin/
kill -HUP on the last one, gets the installation to continue
