I get the error rather consistently

Going to the console and looking at the processes I see that the last processes are:

   apt-get install --assume-yes bluefish quanta kompoze...
   /bin/sh -c /usr/sbin/dpkg-preconfigure --apt || true...
   /usr/bin/perl /w /usr/sbin/dpkg-preconfigure --apt...

kill -HUP on the last one, gets the installation to continue

Oh and there is a zombie:
   [dpkg-preconfigu]

In 8.10, /var/run/dhclient-$iface.* are used, not /var/state/dhcp/dhclient.*
