Bug Description

Many people have had similar problems with older versions. I am using xorg-driver-fglrx 7.1.0-8.37.6+2.6.22.4-13.6.

Error in Xorg.0.log:
(EE) AIGLX error: dlsym for __driCreateNewScreen_20050727 failed (/usr/lib/dri/fglrx_dri.so: undefined symbol: __driCreateNewScreen_20050727)
(EE) AIGLX: reverting to software rendering

This causes xcomposite not to work.

My hardware:
01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: ATI Technologies Inc RV350 [Mobility Radeon 9600 M10]

Thank You For Your TIme

Sorry, after reading some info at ati.amd.com, I realize that fglrx doesn't support AIGLX.

You are right. AIGLX support in fglrx driver is not expected for a little (or long?) while.
