Bug Description

Binary package hint: kdepim

When starting kmail via kontact the "subject, sender, date" field seems to be hard-coded and doesn't fill the full panel. It looks a little odd when the three fields are groped on the left side of the screen while there's a lot of screen estate unused on the right hand side.
I'll try to include a screenshot.

Such improvements might be better to be sent upstream. Since we use kdepim enterprise branch, you may discuss such improvements in #kontact IRC channel.

How do I do that? Isn't there some automatic way of doing this from here? Like tag this bug "upstream" or something similar?

Could you provide a screenshot of exactly what you are referring to? I just installed Hardy, actually running from the LiveCD right now, and opened up Kontact and selected 'outbox' to see if I could verify it. Nothing looks out of place here and they all fill the panel to what I would expect. I can even resize them the way I want them to look. thanks!
