Bug Description

The nova packages include minimal configuration files that often cause confusion due to missing sections/options and also include some defunct options (e.g., enabling the defunct built-in EC2 API). Please include stock upstream example configuration files for each release.

This issue (and other issues involving defunct configuration in packages) continues to cause problems [1]. Please increase priority and resolve.

The nova package has been updated to generate nova.conf and policy.json for zesty (ocata). The fix has been committed and will be included in the B1 milestone release for ocata.
