Bug Description
Binary package hint: language-support-nl
With Gutsy for some reason lots of the dutch translation went horrible wrong.
Somebody altered the translation into something very inconsistent. Please revert back to feisty language strings for the following packages: nautilus, gnome-panel and the gnome-menu categories.
What needs to be changed:
1. XDG-User-dirs should be updated like this:
VIDEO -> Video
DESKTOP -> Werkblad
2. Menu entries that are badly translated causing too long menu entries (30-50% of the screen space)
Applications -> "System Tools"
Should become: "Systeem" (instead of "Systeemgereeds
System -> Administration -> Restricted Drives Management
Should become: "Extern Stuurprogramma's" (instead of "Beperkt ondersteunde stuurprogramma's")
3. The following menu entries are not yet translated:
System -> Administration -> Screens and Graphics
Should become: "Monitor Configuratie"
Is this symptom still reproducible in 8.10?
