Bug Description

Binary package hint: nautilus

Somewhere in the past two weeks Nautilus stopped showing me the 'free space remaining' information in the status bar for my removable drives.

Nautilus shows 'N items, free space:' on CIFS and a local ext3 partition.
It does NOT show 'free space' in the status bar on two removable usb drives formatted to XFS and FAT32.

I am sure Nautilus was showing this information two weeks ago. It does show up in the properties window for the removable drive.

I have discovered the cause of this problem.

I recently changed my system language from en-us (US English) to nl (Dutch). Nautilus does not show me the free space on removable drives when my system language is Dutch.

I just logged in with US English and Nautilus shows me the free space again.

Very peculiar. Switching to EN-US and back again seems to have fixed it. I'll assume this was an upgrade anomaly.

Probably caused by an upgrade.
