Dear Maintainer,
The package fails to build. On jenkins, but not for me locally, more
things also fail. This pycompat25 seems like the most obvious initial
problem, however:

Closing in Ubuntu as well as the fixed release (0.8.0-1) reached ubuntu.
(what was the point of importing the bug in the first place?)
