kmail selects wrong sending profile when redirecting

Bug Description

I have quite a few servers set up for me to send mail through (laptop, plugged in in different places), although I have one of them (not the first on the list) as the default because it almost always works. If I redirect a message (pressing E), it will try to send it via the first one on the list, which doesn't work in this case. Expected behaviour is to send it via the default one. A workaround is to let it fail, and then use 'send queued via...'.

This is kmail Version 1.9.6 (enterprise 0.20070907.709405) on Gutsy beta.

I can not reproduce it on Gutsy with kmail 4:3.5.7enterprise20070926-0ubuntu2

It is still an issue (I just tested it), and the build of kmail hasn't changed since I reported it initially, according to it's about box (although the package manager reports 4:3.5.7enterprise20070926-0ubuntu2 which is a different build number than kmail itself thinks it is)

Dear Eythian,

the package manager reports the version of the package, it's quite
different from the buildnumber of kmail.

The package could have changed in many ways; for instance some configfiles
might have changed, the postinstall script, or the documentation. It's
always good to report the version and build (as 'About' reports) and also
the package version...

Back to the problem. When I go to
Settings -> Configure Kmail -> Accounts -> Tab Sending
I do have two smtp transports (one smtp and one smtp-ssl).

The second is the default.

When I press 'e' sometimes it takes the default smtp server, and
sometimes, it takes the other.

I have not been able to see a pattern in this, but as is, your bug is now
Confirmed...

OK. In my case, it always seems to pick the first one. I have about 10
different sending profiles defined, and the default is the 5th one down in
the list.

I only have 2 smtp relays, so I will test with 3 and then see if it always
picks the first one.

Does it *always* pick the first one ? I have had about 1 in 4 go trough
the first one, the rest trough the default one.

Can you test by redirecting 10 msg in a row, and see if they all go trough
the first one ?

I tried with a bunch, and it's always the same result.

This bug still occurs using kmail from 4:3.5.9-0ubuntu3 from Hardy.

I have three transports, the third is set as default.

No matter which folder I redirect mail from, (each folder having different transport settings), mail always get sent via the first listed transport.
