Bug Description
SRU Justification
Impact:
The upstream process for stable tree updates is quite similar
in scope to the Ubuntu SRU process, e.g., each patch has to
demonstrably fix a bug, and each patch is vetted by upstream
by originating either directly from Linus' tree or in a minimally
backported form of that patch. The 3.13.11-ckt29 upstream stable
patch set is now available. It should be included in the Ubuntu
kernel as well.

The commit for this change, "arm64: errata: add module build workaround for erratum #843419" causes the kernel to fail on arm64. This issue was seen with wily's kernel as well and was worked around by disabling CONFIG_ ARM64_ERRATUM_ 843419 in the kernel config. See LP#1502946 (https:/ /bugs.launchpad .net/ubuntu/ +source/ linux/+ bug/1502946) for additional information.
