Bug Description

In kubuntu 7.10 updated wine is installed and working but the wine add-in in kcontrol continues to say:
first in a pop-up window:
"It appears that you don't have wine installed.wine can be used to run some programs designed for Windows.Would you like to install it?

You will need administrative privileges, and the community-maintained (universe)repository will be enabled "
and then
"It appears that you don't have wine installed.wine can be used to run some programs designed for Windows.
Please install the wine package to get this functionality"
It remains only 7 days before stable release good work!

Sorry for the late reply, but is this still a problem?

I'm not sure what package the kcontrol is in, but it's not in the Wine package proper. If it's still an issue we'll retarget the bug.

Changed in wine:
status: New → Invalid
