Login process slow

Bug Description

After I install the Ubuntu 7.1 I find the login process is a bit slower than Ubuntu 7.04. It will take around one minute before the desktop icons and panels appear. In Ubuntu 7.04, on my machine the login process is usually less than 10 seconds.

In addition .xsession-errors report several problems:

This is not a supported use of GTK+. You must create a helper

This is not a duplicate of 128803. This will not happens when I login to a
new user account(newly created) and it will happen only after some time I
use the account, making a lot of settings on the Gnome and Compiz fusion.

It does not matter what we have, but it really matters who we are.
