Bug Description

Binary package hint: firefox

I'm using Version 7.10 with an Intell Pentium D Dual running at 2.66GHz mounted on a GIGABYTE S-series motherboard with 2 GB's of RAM (DDR II 533)and 800MHz FSB. I am using the on-board video. The problem, only occurs when I select anything but the "NONE" category in visual effects under appearance Preferences. This happens with all open windows i.e. Firefox, Open Office etc. Of course I can run the computer in basic mode but I love the visuals that came with Gutsy.

This isnt a firefox or gecko problem if you are seeing it in OO.o and other packages. you might want to file this against video card drivers or xorg.
