Bug Description

Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-video-i810

I have the Intel 945 graphics card on a Dell D620. First monitor works correctly with GL support, the second monitor displays the default background colour. (Coincidence?, perhaps, I have not tried to change background colour) No windows can be moved to this window.
Im using Xinerama and this xorg.conf is working with default xserver in Ubuntu 7.10 Beta with dual external monitors through the docking station. (One VGA, One DVI)
The monitors are two Dell 1709fp in 1280x1024 mode.
I also have to "overclock" the Hz of the monitors, but this has already been addressed in other bug reports.

Could this be related to Bug #134448 ?

Could you please recheck it with Gutsy Final Live CD? In Gutsy i810 driver is deprecated and intel driver is used instead.
Btw. with the new Intel driver xrandr is used instead of Xinerama.

Btw. why Do you use Xgl if Aiglx is supported through both intel drivers out of the box?

I did not know that I could do that. But thanks for the input. I simply used
xgl due to ignorance.

Does it work with Gutsy Gibbon 7.10 and AIGLX or not?

Yes, it works with Gutsy and AIGLX.
But only if the screen is singlescreen. If the screen is too large AIGLX
wont work.
I guess this issue can be closed.
