totem hangs playing video or music

Bug Description

Binary package hint: totem

I can't play any video or music file with totem it just hangs and I've to force it to quit.
To reproduce the bug I just need to launch totem and open a music or video file.
I'm running Ubuntu 7.10 RC1
If you need any more information, please tell me how to get it.

I thought doing that but there isn't a package called totem-dbgsym. Anyway I installed totem-gstreamer-dbgsym and did a backtrace and a strace. Hope this helps. Sorry for the bad english.

the gdb log indicated that you killed the program and didn't get a backtrace, did you use the wiki instructions?

Yes, I did use the wiki instructions. Anyway, with the new updates everything is seems to be ok. Thank you for your help.
