Compiz conflict: Expo and Sticky Windows

Bug Description

Binary package hint: compiz

When sticky windows and Expo are both enabled, stick windows will not let you move windows in Expo mode. The window and cursor will jiggle violently while you're trying to drag a window. Disabling the sticky windows plugin is a workaround, but it would be nice if the sticky behaviour could be temporarily disabled while expo is trying to move windows and re-enabled when the user zooms back in. Both Expo and sticky windows were enabled by default for me.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. The issue that you reported is one that should be reproducible with the live environment of the Desktop CD of the development release - Hardy Heron. It would help us greatly if you could test with it so we can work on getting it fixed in the next release of Ubuntu. You can find out more about the development release at http://www.ubuntu.com/testing/ . Thanks again and we appreciate your help.

Compiz in Ubuntu does not have a "Sticky Windows" plugin. if you mean making the window "sticky" by right clicking on the titlebar and choosing "Always on Visible Workspace" this does not cause the problem you describe when I try it in hardy.
