Bug Description

Thunderbird terminates with a segmentation fault when selecting an email

Linux wb 2.6.22-14-generic #1 SMP Wed Oct 10 05:28:36 GMT 2007 x86_64 GNU/Linux

Segmentation fault (core dumped)

there is no core dump however

Additional information:

Thunderbird shows date format in US notation. I need German notation. In order to get that I installed thunderbird-locale-de.

Thunderbird crashes it both thunderbird-locale-en and thunderbird-locale-de is installed in parallel.

Removing thunderbird-locale-de fixes the crashes but does not solve my problem.

Reinstalled everything from scratch:

Cut a long story short: This is a problem with Lightning 0.5 64 bit Edition.

Thunderbird crashes regularly and reproducibly when Lightning is installed. It runs fine regardless of the language settings.
