Hoary: On session startup, gnome loads the archive mgr, looking for a file that doesn't exist.

I'm running Hoary x86_64, up to date on 2005 04 11.

Since updating last week, I get the gnome session mgr started up upon entering
into my session. It comes up with an error that it can't find a file, then I
close it.

This is a minor aggravation.

The file that Archive Manager is looking for is: libsndfile-1.0.11.tar.gz, but
don't ask me why...

It sounds like you saved your session with file-roller running

Maybe, probably is, but I don't even know how to do this if I want to... I'll look
at saving my session in a "clean" state.

... saving the session "clean" made it go away... (blushing) maybe we should
cancel this bug, even if I have no idea how the session was saved... sorry...
