Bug Description

When I enable Dual monitor support and log out to apply the changes, I get an error message box that says "The gretter application appears to be crashing. Attempting to use a different one. I'm specifying the monitor by type:

ViewSonic G773

I had dual monitor support working in Feisty by hand modifying the xorg.conf file. I used the Screens and Graphics tool for this one. I haven't tried hand modifying xorg.conf yet.

Here's the single monitor xorg.conf

That error message should read:

"The greeter application appears to be crashing. Attempting to use a different one."

Adding these lines to the original xorg.conf Screen section did the trick just like it did in Feisty:

        Option "RenderAccel" "true"
        Option "TwinView"
        Option "MetaModes" "1280×1024 1280×1024"

There seems to be some serious issue with how the Screens and Graphics tool configures xorg.conf.

I must have missed the bug form where I could specify whether or not it is a
security bug. I didn't intend on it to be.
