Bug Description

Phatch (PHoto bATCH Processor) is a user friendly, cross-platform Photo Batch Processor. It's included by default in Ubuntu Studio, therefore we should ensure it meets the Ubuntu quality standards.

This report is intend to track the current state of the Phatch manual testcase.

The GUI for Phatch is broken but the command-line is operational. The operation of the command-line version of phatch requires scritpting; I'm not sure how to proceed with test-case.

There is not much point writing a manual test case for command line programs. An autopkgtest would be better for that.

But it looks like we should probably be considering not including phatch in Ubuntu Studio if it is so broken. The upstream website is broken, and there have been no commits since 2010. Someone tried to fork it (on bitbucket). But there has been no work on it since it was imported in 2014.

Maybe we should close this bug.

I have nothing against excluding it from ubuntustudio. It was handy when it worked, but I think ImageMagick provides similar functionalities from the command-line.

To close the bug, do i just change the status to "won't fix" ?
