MSTTCOREFONTS wont install and cant be removed

This has bothered me since I installed gutsy, msttcorefonts was installed using synaptic, and it didn't finish, now it tries to install at every apt-get upgrade and returns the output attached here http://launchpadlibrarian.net/9718199/output.txt If I try to apt-get remove msttcorefonts I also get the same output 'file not found' If i use wget or firefox to try to get the links 'directly' it works fine.

 I know this is probably bad form creating another post about this bug, but it has been open for at least 2 weeks and is unresolved. This is a previous post here https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/msttcorefonts/+bug/125940

Thanks for your time, and I sincerely hope this can be remedied prior to release!
