Bug Description

My system is Gutsy, strigi 0.5.6.

While I had some issues with strigidaemon at version 0.5.5-2 it worked fine after the upgrade to 0.5.6.
Now, just after booting, strigidaemon filled the RAM and swap completely (1.5G of swap were full) rendering the system almost unresponsive. strigi:/status showed "documents index" = "words indexed" = -1.

It may be of relevance that an fsck was performed at boot before strigidaemon showed this behaviour.

Although there are several bug relating to strigidaemon crashing, it did not crash.

Does this still happen with Kubuntu Intrepid?
