gnome-about-me hangs

Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-control-center

Whenever I launch the gnome-about-me app, it hangs. It shows a gray window with white rectangles where the text boxes should be.

I don't have the debugging version, but I launched the app with gdb and this are the last two lines, and the only interesting ones:

I have no idea on how to use a debugger, and I don't know where can I get the version of gnome-about-me with debugging symbols enabled.
