Bug Description
Binary package hint: kerry
In Kerry's settings dialog under "indexing" you can switch off the automatic starting of the beagle daemon. Unfortunately this doesn't change anything. The daemon always gets started no matter what the setting is.

Kerry was removed from Kubuntu 8.10 in favor of upcoming Nepomuk/Strigi joy. Therefore I am closing this bug.
