Bug Description

Binary package hint: adept-updater

Adept gave me the option to update my 7.10 Beta 2 system to 7.10. The upgrade wizard started fine and after a short while i was informed that the upgrade would abort due to a lack of space in /boot. I removed a .bak from /boot and attempted to upgrade again. The problem is that the wizard now claims that my system is fully upgraded, while adept still gives me the option to upgrade my distribution. The logs left in /var/logs/dist-upgrade says that my apt-sources are already set to the new distribution and that no packages are about to be installed, upgraded or removed.

After recieving the error-message the wizards restores my system to its old state.

The file /etc/lsb-release file claims that my system is 7.10, although I am unsure whether it said anything different before the attempted upgrade.

This bug seems a duplicate of 153889. Due to a bug, Gutsy offer the chance to upgrade itself also when all packages are updated. Now a fix should be released for this issue. Please post a comment in report 153889, if you have issue with the updated version of Adept (2.1.3-ubuntu17.1).
Thanks for your collaboration.
