hebrew is not displayed properly on gutsy boot menu

Bug Description
After booting into Ubuntu Gutsy from CD, it displays the main menu.
If I'm choosing Hebrew from the languages mene, the text become unreadable (it displays some random hebrew chars).
I'm using Thinkpad R50e.
