Bug Description

Binary package hint: kde-guidance-powermanager

If a Gnome environment is present and accessed, when returning to KDE the settings for lid policy become corrupted - the system does no more suspend when the lid is closed, for example. Removing the gnome settings folders in ~ (.gnome ecc.) solves the issue.
The bug first kicked in when closing the lid with the AC connected. In Gnome the battery management allows you to choose the lid policy for AC and battery powered states, but in KDE this is not implemented - I had chosen "blank screen" as AC policy, and so when I closed the lid in KDE, suddenly all lid settings became corrupted. As I said, removing the settings folders solved the issue at once.

Is this still an issue with guidance-power-manager in Intrepid?
