logitech media elite keyboard mute does work nor does the volume controls

Bug Description

I am runnig Gutsy Gibbon fresh install. Logitech media elite keyboard mute and volume controls indicate they are working on screen but do not affect volume level.

I solved this one by changing the default mixer tracks

System > Preferences > Sound and select PCM.

Your right this does fix the problem but in order for it to show on the
panel you must also select PCM of the volume control.
