Bug Description

hi!

the content of this reference section to Kubuntu looks quite aged & misleading.

https://community.kde.org/Frameworks/Binary_Packages#Kubuntu

As I cannot change it myself, I think this is the right place to ask for an amendment as to reflect the current state for Kubuntu at it's best.

Thanks for caring & best regards

P.S.: I just hope that such self-presentaion of Kubuntu within the KDE-Project does never put a low shine on it - one of the reasons to report it. ;-) Could not even find out if that webcontent is immutable to common users, but would think so.

Flames_in_Paradise: just a comment to advise you that "it's a wiki! so you can fix." All that is required to login to the KDE wikis is a KDE Identity account, at identity.kde.org. It's been a bit locked down over the past month or two because of spam attacks, but it's still a wiki and as such, we can all login and make it better.

Well, that has been my very impression, though I didn't find other ressort than writing a official bug-report – which I think is overall never bad, as it's one of the principals of FOSS. Shortest time to wait was 5 min's (Yofel remembers surely) - longest was 2 Years.

Happy to hear the KDE-Wiki comes back to normal. Ubuntu-Wiki suffered same anomalies.

Flames_in_Paradise,

Once again, thanks for your attention to this which probably would have been overlooked for weeks more without your bug-report. I've updated the page in question to refer to Xenial now.

The KDE wikis are much healthier with the new login system, i think. Fingers crossed for luck, of course. The Ubuntu wikis are being attacked by the same sort of junk, and I hope they are able to upgrade their security as well. It's been hard to edit them as well.
