Bug Description
Binary package hint: mozilla-firefox
After updating from 7.04 to 7.10 Firefox displays strange behaviour.
The browser launches without a problem, but after about 1-2 minutes becomes extremely sluggish and unresponsive. The entire window is then grayed out (the same way that in 7.04 an unresponsive application would be grayed out. e.g. when Synaptic was loading for a long time). The browser then becomes responsive again, but the whole window is still grayed out, and moving, resizing, minimizing the window does not solve the problem. Closing the window or opening a new one does in fact fix this problem.
My computer:
AMD Athlon Dual Core 3800+
nVidia GeForce 7600 GS
Motherboard is ASUS M2N-E using the nForce4 chipset from nVidia
