can't start avahi daemon on gutsy

Bug Description

I'm unable to start avahi-daemon, I'm getting the following error:

isr@irps0:~$ sudo avahi-daemon &
[1] 25568
Found user 'avahi' (UID 104) and group 'avahi' (GID 108).
Successfully dropped root privileges.
isr@irps0:~$ avahi-daemon 0.6.20 starting up.
Successfully called chroot().
Successfully dropped remaining capabilities.
No service file found in /etc/avahi/services.
Failed to create server: Invalid host name

Hi,

It is complaining that your hostname is invalid. One place that
can be set is in /etc/avahi/avahi-daemon.conf.

Could you please attach your /etc/avahi/avahi-daemon.conf file
to the bug report?

Could you also include the output of "hostname" run from the command
line?
