Bug Description

If a managed domain is creates with a name/description containing non-ASCII-characters, `xm list` fails in xen-4.1.6.1
This is caused by "xend" implementing its own broken hex-decoder.

The patch was sent upstream but rejected as xen-4.1 (and Python-xend) being EOL: <http://lists.xenproject.org/archives/html/xen-devel/2014-10/msg01819.html>

This appears still valid for Trusty, but no newer releases as xend was removed.
