Sound accompanied by high pitch and volume disappears when changed

Bug Description

My laptop is an AH8E one with an Intel HDA soundcard.

I install 7.10 a few days ago and the problems still persist.

First, whenever sound is played, it is accompanied by a very high pitch sound, which is very annoying.

Second, when I tried to change the volume in either Headphone bar or PCM bar, sound disappears.

Please help me fix the bug!

Is this symptom reproducible in 8.10?
