Bug Description

Binary package hint: k3b

I'm using Kubuntu 7.10, with K3B 1.0.3, KDE 3.5.8. I started copying a DVD on a system with 1 DVD drive. I had selected the "remove image" option. After the reading ended and I put a blank disc for writing, it reported OPC failed, and deleted the temporary image from the hard disk. I had to read the source disc again, which should not have been necessary since the first read and ISO image creation was successful.

If the write is not successful, K3B should give a "try again" option, and delete the temporary image only after confirmation.

Is this symptom still reproducible in 8.10?
