Bug Description
Wanted result: Open "Gimp" by using only the keyboard, without letting go of the standard keyboard-stance, asdfjklö.
What happens: I Open the meny with <alt>-<F1>, but there I'm stuck. The "g"-key doesn't respond
Reproducable: Yes
Platform specific: No
Ok, in Windows I use the <super>-key to launch the menu. In Gnome/KDE I can live with the <alt>-<F1>shortcut, but when I want to stop down to "Graphics" I hit the "g"-key and nothing happens, the highligthed alternative doesn't jump down to "Games", (and of course neither after another keystroke to "Graphics").
BUT when I in this mode hit "s" as in "System" - I then change the menu to "System" and THERE I can navigate through the menu-options by pressing the "a"-key repeatedly I choose between "Administration", "About Gnome" and "About Ubuntu".
I think this is a usabilityproblem that should be solved - we shoudn't force the users to use the arrow keys when it could be done otherwise (and more correct)
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering is this still an issue for you? Can you try with latest Ubuntu release? Thanks in advance.
