Bug Description
when using netboot.tar.gz file from http://
after selecting french mirror the release file cannot be downloaded
this is working with archive.ubuntu.com mirror

The installer seems to point to correct place. The file at the place seems correct. I noticed that the mirror server is quite slow. Must have been network connectivity issue or the mirror was not synchronized properly.
